Fahamu Pecou REMIX Conversations

BlackArtNews.com | via Columbia Museum of Art

Fahamu Pecou is one of the artists participating in the Columbia Museum of Art's REMIX exhibit. In this special segment as part of an interview with the Columbia Museum of Art, or CMA, Fahamu Pecou provides some context on his thought process for choosing artwork to display for the show.

REMIX emphasizes the unique practice among visual and performing artists of giving new life to often old, outdated and antiquated themes, by refashioning them through their artwork.
REMIX should impress visitors with a wide range of creative artwork across a range of well handled media and will likely prompt discussion about history and artists processes for creating new work inspired by the old.
