The Rittenhouse Square Fine Art Show is distinguished from other art shows by two important differences.  First, only original non-functional fine art is accepted. Secondly, the show is produced by a non-profit organization of fellow exhibiting artists.  The entire Board of Director's exhibit in the show which institutes a vested interest in creating a successful event.  This is illustrated in our 90-year history, making the Rittenhouse Square Fine Art Show the oldest continuous outdoor art show in the nation.

We cap the number of professional artist spaces at 143.  The venue is the sidewalk perimeter circling Rittenhouse Square in Center City Philadelphia. Rittenhouse Square is a prestigious park setting in the downtown area.  It is surrounded by some of the most luxurious residential addresses in Philadelphia.  The show has consistently attracted an affluent, culturally educated clientele.
